Seaside Seafood in Mystic, Connecticut

A beautiful, quintessential coastal New England town, Mystic has turned into a culinary destination in recent years. While plenty of people come here to visit the beaches, the Mystic Aquarium, or Mystic Seaport — all make for fine daytime activities — plenty of others come here solely with a food itinerary. That’s what we’re here to provide. We’ll get some high quality baked treats and coffee, visit a couple great spots for cocktails, and, of course, eat tons of seafood. From raw oysters to fried clams, locally caught fish to lobster rolls, menus here are teeming with treats from the sea. The lobster rolls in this part of New England are Connecticut- style, which means they’re served hot with butter (not to be confused with Maine-style, which is served cold with mayo), making for a decadent treat.
